First Home League Match Concludes as Kitchee Win 7:0 against Southern Kitchee hosted their first home league match this season at the Mong Kok Stadium on 15th October (Saturday) against Southern and claimed all 3 points as Ruslan Mingazov completed his hat trick to seal off a 7:0 victory.
Mikael’s cross from the right in 10th minute was headed away, but the ball fell to Cleiton inside the box whose left-footed effort gave home team the lead. 2 minutes later, Fernando’s cross found Poon Pui Hin, who doubled the lead with a header. Mingazov scored from the left with a top-corner effort in 35th minute before Fernando’s freekick from a narrow angle during added time gave Kitchee a comfortable 4:0 lead at half time.
Mingazov found the net again 6 minutes into the second half as he picked up Roberto’s cross and volleyed it home. He completed his hat-trick in 82nd minute as he rounded the keeper and calmly sent the ball into an empty net. Michail Manias rounded up a sublime performance from the team with a close-range shot from Alex Akande’s pass to complete a 7:0 triumph. Kitchee has now won both their league games with 6 points on the table.
