Kitchee ran riot by putting 8 goals past HKFC to gain back-to-back Premier League wins at the Mong Kok Stadium on Sunday (August 27).

Coach Alex Chu made a few changes to his starting lineup for this week’s Premier League match against HKFC, and Kitchee got off to a flying start when Korean striker Kim Shin-Wook scored his first-ever goal for the Club in the 14th minute before Tan Chun Lok doubled the gap 2 minutes later on his first start for Kitchee.

Kim Shin-Wook showed all the attributes to be a world-class striker as he hit a superb first-half hat-trick in 3 minutes with one from the penalty spot in the 24th minute to make it 4-0 for Kitchee.

Igor Satori was also the key to the rampage. Besides earning the penalty for Kitchee, he also produced an assist to Ruslan Mingazov to net his first goal of the season. Mikael also got his name on the score sheet when Oliver Gerbig set the Brazilian up to the 6-0 score line just after the half hour mark.

Two goals followed in the second-half as Igor Satori headed home in the 55th minute before an own goal from HKFC rounded off the 8-0 scoring to allow Kitchee snatching the three points.
