Mikael netted twice in Kitchee’s impressive 5-1 win against RCFC at Mong Kok Stadium on Friday (December 8) – a big final premier league home win of 2023.
Kitchee took the lead in the 14th minute to heat things up with Fernando’s free-kick from the right. Mikael doubled the lead 3 minutes later as he unleashed his long range power at the edge of the box. First half substitute Sherzod Temirov added home for the third with a header courtesy of Shinichi Chan and Jakob Jantscher.
Defender Oliver Gerbig also got his name on the scoresheet as he converted in the box in the 71st minute. The visitors pulled one back 5 minutes later, but Mikael’s double in the 88th minute saw his side made a hugely impressive performance to take 3 points home.
