Kitchee dominated RCFC from start to finish in Saturday’s (January 13) JC Sapling Cup as they put 5 goals past their opponents at Kowloon Bay Park.

It took Kitchee over 20 minutes to settle as this was their first time to play on an artificial turf at Kowloon Bay Park, but that didn’t prevent Andy Russell from breaking the deadlock with a header through a corner attempt in the 23rd minute. Austrian striker Jakob Jantscher scored two first half goals within 8 minutes to extend the lead to 3-0 before half time.

Midfielder Mikael continued his impressive form as he provided an assist to Sherzod Temirov in the 88th minute before adding the fifth goal in stoppage time to help fire Kitchee to a 5-0 victory against RCFC.
