Kitchee progressed to the last four after defeating Lee Man 3-1 in the JC Sapling Cup Group B fixture at Mong Kok Stadium on Sunday (March 24).
Tuscany Shek, Kam Chi Kin Jason, Matthew Slattery, and Shinichi Chan such U22 players started with the latter captained for the first time for this crucial match – a victory would see Kitchee progressing to the semi-finals as group winners. 2 goals from Sherzod Temirov and Cleiton handed Kitchee a 2-0 lead at halftime.
