2 second half goals from Cheung Wai Ki and Kwong Wing Yan to secure a sensational 2-1 comeback for Kitchee Women’s Team over Chelsea FC Soccer School (HK) to win top-flight title at Shek Kip Mei Park on Saturday (June 22).
An early goal in the first half put Chelsea in front, but the turning point happened minutes after the second half when Cheung and Kwong transformed the mood in Shek Kip Mei, first the Women’s Footballer of the Year winner firing home with a banger to the top of the net before the latter scoring in the box to snatch 3 massive points for Kitchee to crown the league champions for the second time in a row.
