Kitchee threw away a 2-0 lead as Crownity North District scored two late goals to force a 2-2 draw in the premier league opener on Saturday (August 31).

4 new summer signings including goalie Fynn Talley made their premier league debuts for the visitors. Kitchee dominated the first half, but only saw them to open the scoring from the spot in the 22nd minute, courtesy of Sherzod Temirov. The Uzbek striker made no mistake from the 12 yard to hand his side the lead.

The one-way traffic continued after the break and Kitchee had a few chances to extend the lead, but only had it off the target or ruled out after offside offense was spotted. The visitors scored the second goal in the 70minute when Júnior transformed a defensive error from the hosts to open his account after making a great run.

The visitors were two goals to the good until the 85th minute, when the hosts produced an incredible comeback and scored in what appeared to be the equalizer in the stoppage time to settle for a point in the north.
