Kitchee were held to a 1-1 draw in Lee Man’s visit to Mong Kok Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday (November 2).

Kitchee came close at the beginning of the first half when Júnior fired a long range at the edge of the box but saved by Chan Ka Ho. Captain Tan Chun Lok was unable to continue and was substituted by Poon Pui Hin in the first half after a collision with Lee Man midfielder Wu Chun Ming, and it was this substitution changed the story of the game.

The visitors converted in the 35th minute when Samuel Rosa Gonçalves sent Henri Anier to the left and the Estonian ran at the Kitchee defense before unleashing a fierce left foot shot to hand his side the lead. Kitchee leveled moments before the half time whistle. A great combination between Poon and Luís Machado down the right saw the Portuguese cut the ball with his back heel back to the winger to slot home the equalizer.

Both sides tried to regain the ascendancy after the break, but neither could find the winner.
