Kitchee fell 3-0 to Tai Po in JC Sapling Cup on Sunday (December 15).

A number of U22 players including Tuscany Shek, Chen Ngo Hin, and Matthew Slattery started for this Group A match at Tsing Yi Sports Ground, where both teams had a number of chances throughout the first half, but either saw them trickle wide or get denied by goalkeepers from both sides.

Tai Po took the lead 15 minutes after the break when Marcos Santos’ freekick found the top corner before Michel Renner doubled the advantage 7 minutes later. Kitchee tried to get back to the game, but Tai Po managed to clear out all the chances. Tai Po made it 3-0 when Igor Satori’s strike beat Shek in goal to snatch the win.
