傑志宣佈，與前鋒金信煜達成協議，這位身高達1.97米的南韓球員已順利通過體測，與傑志簽約至2026年，將會穿起33號球衣。
34歲的金信煜曾效力蔚山現代及全北汽車，兩度奪得南韓K1聯賽冠軍，及分別於2012年及2016年贏得亞冠盃。加盟傑志前，他曾效力中超球隊上海申花及新加坡球隊獅城水手。上季的新加坡超級足球聯賽，金信煜上陣26次，攻入21球。自2010年起，金信煜為南韓國家隊上陣56場，攻入16球，是2015及2017年的東亞足球錦標賽冠軍成員。
傑志主教練朱志光歡迎金信煜加盟，他表示：「金信煜身型高大，是一大優勢，但我相信他有能力配合不同的踢法，與其他中前場球員靈活地合作。他能以不同的方式取得入球，更重要是有很多亞冠盃經驗，是我們需要的球員。我期望他能幫助傑志取得入球之餘，一眾年青球員亦能在他身旁好好學習。」
Kitchee can confirm that the Club has reached an agreement with Kim Shin-wook on personal terms. The 1.97m South Korean has signed a long-term contract until 2026 after successfully passing his medical, and will wear the no. 33 jersey.
The 34-year-old striker previously played for Ulsan Hyundai and Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors, winning the K League 1 twice. He was influential in both teams’ AFC Champions League success in 2012 and 2016 respectively. Before joining Kitchee, Kim Shin-wook played for CSL side Shanghai Shenhua and Lion City Sailors from Singapore. His last season with Lion City Sailors saw him scoring a stunning number of 21 goals from 26 Singapore Premier League appearances. Since debuting for South Korea in 2010, Kim Shin-wook represented his country on 56 occasions, scoring 16 goals and lifting the EAFF E-1 Football Championship title in 2015 and 2017.
Head Coach Alex Chu welcomes Kim Shin-wook’s signing. “He is obviously a tall and strong player, but he is also capable of playing in different styles, working smoothly with our attacking players. He can score in many ways, but most importantly his vast ACL experience makes him the right kind of player for us. I trust that he will help us score a lot of goals and be an outstanding role model for our young players.”
