Goals Galore at Sham Shui Po as Kitchee Triumphed

Kitchee recorded a 10:0 victory against Sham Shui Po in their first Premier League match this season, as Poon Pui Hin, Charlie Scott, and Dejan Damjanović each scored a brace at Sham Shui Po Sports Ground on 18 September (Sun).

 

Starting again since last match, Poon Pui Hin quickly helped the team ahead as he scored a header from a corner in the 3rd minute, before doubling the lead in the 8th minute from a rebound. Alex Akande then won a penalty for Charlie Scott to calmly convert in the 39th minute and end the first half 3:0.

 

Charlie Scott doubled his personal tally with a long shot in the 49th minute, as Law Tsz Chun also got his name on the score sheet with a close-ranged effort inside the box in the 55th minute. Sham Shui Po’s misfortune continued as one of their players were sent off in the 69th minute. The scoring continued as Ruslan Mingazov and Damjanović each scored in the 74th and 75th minutes, before the match was paused for 30 minutes due to adverse weather.

 

After the match restarted, Cheng Chin Lung, Damjanović, and Mikael Severo scored in quick succession to complete a 10-goal rout as Kitchee claimed a victory in their first League match.
