Kitchee defeated HK U23 in the Hong Kong Premier League match on 12 Nov (Sat) at the Tseung Kwan O Sports Ground, claiming all 3 points after scoring 7 goals with no reply.
Kyrgyzstani international Bekzhan Sagynbaev came back from injuries and started for the Club in his debut. Kitchee finally broke the deadlock before the half time whistle with Clément Benhaddouche’s close-range finish putting the team ahead.
Kitchee would score 4 goals within 6 minutes during second half as Dejan Damjanović and Mikael each scored in the 53rd and 55th minutes, before Damjanović completing his hat-trick with 2 goals in the 57th and 59th minutes. Mikael later broke the offside trap and scored in the 75th minute, and Ruslan Mingazov scored a header from Poon Pui Hin’s cross 1 minute later to wrap up a 7:0 victory against HK U23.
