Kitchee moved to the top of the Hong Kong Premier League table after winning 7:0 against Sham Shui Po at home on 5 Feb (Sun).

The first goal came in the 6th minute as Ngan Cheuk Pan surged past an opponent before finding Dejan Damjanović, who scored calmly inside the box. 3 minutes later, Ruslan Mingazov dispossessed an opponent and passed the ball to Mikael, who crossed from the left for Damjanović to score his second goal of the night. Mingazov himself would get on the scoresheet in the 13th minute as he scored a poacher's effort after the keeper denied Igor Satrori. Igor Sartori won a penalty in the 28th minute, which he converted to give Kitchee a 4:0 lead. As half time was approaching, Igor Sartori's cross found Mikael, who headed it home to extend the lead to 5 goals.

Fernando scored a close-range effort in the 71st minute from a poor clearance. Poon Pui Hin's cross in the 79th minute found Bekzhan Sagynbaev, who moved past an opponent before hammering a thunderous strike with his left foot to complete a convincing 7:0 victory, taking Kitchee to the top of the table.
