9 former students from Kitchee Academy represented Kitchee in the 2:0 Sapling Cup victory against HK U23 on 16 Nov (Wed) at the Mong Kok Stadium.
In the starting lineup, Sohgo Ichikawa, Ngan Cheuk Pan, Cheng Chin Lung, Chang Kwong Yin, Tsang Yi Hang Ellison, Kam Chi Kin Jason, and Poon Pui Hin all received their trainings at the Academy. The first goal of the game came from Bekzhan Sagynbaev in the 8th minute as he intercepted a pass before releasing a powerful finish to give Kitchee the lead by half time.
Second half saw Yuen Chun Him and Law Tsz Chun, 2 more graduates from the Academy entered the fray. Playing for the First Team for the first time, Yuen Chun Him picked up a pass from another debutant Dai Tsz Hin, before passing the ball to Ngan Cheuk Pan to finish the game 2:0.
