Kitchee fell to defeat at the hands of Crownity North District in the JC Sapling Cup group stage match at Kowloon Bay Park on Saturday (January 20).
North District scored in the 8th minute to put pressure on Kitchee. Andy Russell was on the scoresheet again as he headed home for the equalizer from a corner attempt 3 minutes before the half time whistle.
Crownity North District claimed the points with a 3-1 triumph through two goals in the second half as Kitchee tasted defeat and the result saw them sitting third of the group with one point behind the group leader.
