Kitchee Girls’ U15 beat Major League Football Academy 4-0 to seal the title with one game left to play, making history with first-ever Women’s Youth Football League trophy.

Hung Wing Tung Xyza scored a double along with goals from Chong Hoi Ching and Tsang Tsz Ching as Kitchee Girls’ U15 routed Major League Football Academy 4-0. Girls’ U15 have now gone 11 matches without defeat this season to secure their first Women’s Youth League title, have a 6-point lead over Lucky Mile with one match remaining.

‘It’s incredible, the trophy means that we are headed to the right direction. We always aim to create an awareness of girls and women’s football, and you can tell we have been doing a great job so far, from the U15 to the Women’s Team, the Club has been providing their biggest support for the girls to show who they are and what they can do, I am really pleased.’ Head Coach Andy Cheung shared his thoughts after the game.

Girls’ U15 will play the last fixture of the season against HKFC on Sunday (April 21), whereas Girls’ U18 completed the league, finishing 4th in the Women’s Youth League standings (4W-1D-5L). Both teams will switch their focuses to the FA Cup next week.
