Mikael scored in with 4 minutes left in extra-time with a 2-1 win to send Kitchee past Eastern into the FA Cup Final on Monday (May 1).

The two teams are no strangers to each other as this was their 6 meetings of the year. Eastern got on the scoreboard via the 14th minute penalty by Victor Bertomeu, but Kitchee rallied multiple times to ensure their place in the final, beginning with an equalizer by substitute Alex Akande during the second-half.

The 37-year-old veteran was introduced after the break and leveled the tie in the 67th minute when he received a cross from Roberto on the wing and converted with a header. Kitchee were threatened after the equalizer, but the attempts from Kim Shin-wook and Igor Satori couldn't find the ball in the back of the net before forcing into extra-time.

The game had a dramatic finish with 4 minutes remaining when Alex Akande was brought down in the box after collecting a pass from Kim Shin-wook, and mid-fielder Mikael grabbed the game-winning goal with a top-corner finish from the 12-yard to hand Kitchee the final spot in the FA Cup Final to meet BC Rangers on May 13.
